Privacy Policy
KAPOSE is built around on-device processing. This policy explains how KAPOSE: AI Pose Camera uses permissions and handles and retains data.
1. Content processed by the App
When you use import, camera, cutout, scoring, or Live Photo features, the App processes photos you choose, camera frames, subject contours, pose landmarks, and brief audio required for Live Photos on your device.
2. Camera, photo, and microphone permissions
Camera access is used for live preview and capture. Photo access is used to import references, save captures, and request system confirmation when you enable deletion of an imported original. Microphone access is used only to record brief audio when Live Photo is enabled and supported. You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings; related features will stop working.
3. On-device pose analysis and uploads
Subject segmentation, pose landmark detection, live matching scores, and directional guidance use Apple’s on-device technologies. The current version does not connect to a developer server. We do not upload or receive your photos, camera frames, audio, or pose-analysis results.
4. Analytics, crash reporting, and third-party SDKs
A review of the current code and dependencies found no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, third-party crash-reporting SDK, or cross-app tracking. The App privacy manifest declares no tracking or collected data and lists only the required-reason UserDefaults API for local preferences. If a future version changes these practices, we will update this policy and relevant App Store disclosures first.
5. Local storage and retention
Saved reference originals, cutout stickers, pose-analysis results, and folder information remain in the App sandbox. Captures are written to the system photo library when you choose. Local data remains until you delete a pose, clear all poses, or uninstall the App. Photos already saved to Photos must be managed there. We keep no server copy and cannot restore or delete this content for you.
6. In-app purchases
KAPOSE Pro purchases, subscriptions, renewals, refunds, and purchase records are processed by Apple and the App Store. We do not directly receive or store payment-card details. The App uses StoreKit only to obtain transaction status needed to verify entitlements.
7. Children’s privacy
KAPOSE does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 and provides no account or public-sharing feature. Guardians should decide whether camera and photo features are appropriate based on the child’s age and local rules.
8. International users
The App may be available in multiple countries and regions. Because core content is processed on device, we do not transfer photos internationally to provide current features. Apple’s handling of App Store transaction data is governed by its own policies.
9. Policy changes
We may update this policy when features, laws, or data practices change. The revised date will appear here, and material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
